    i havent been going lately because of exams and such so all the exercise ive been doing = pushups, chinups, dips and running. very home kind of exercises

    aiming for big lifts next year tho!

    oh and i quit bench press for a while, sticking with dumbbell pressing for now
    can do 80lbs each arm for 3 sets of 6?

    Nice man.
    I was going to switch to dumbbells for benching too, find it takes a lot of pressure off the shoulders when i do incline (mainly because I didnt fully get the technique down with the barbell lol, but im getting there.) but im sticking with barbell for benching. Getting a new stack too, superpump, EAS whey protein and L-Glutamend, see how it goes.

    haha my squats at 270 5x5, deadlift isnt too high, only around 250, bench is 215 3x8

    I'm just trying to reach them.
    I'm at like 275, 185, 315 currently (not the best)
    Lost ALOT of strength past 2 months cuz of college.

    And, idk why both of you have weaker DL than ur squats. When starting out, it should be higher. Try using your hammies the most when pulling and make sure the bar scrapes ur shins.

    But u faggots got big benches, so you can SMD!!!!

    lol DL is the most unsatisfying exercise. this year all ive been doing is cutting fat - next year i'll probably aim for strength

    haha@jad intellect cannot be pitted against physical strength. Their benefits are shown under different circumstances - so its all contextual

    I injured my lower back a while back so i had to start way low with deadlifts just to test the back, still dont really trust it in big lifts though so i take it easy lol

    no, cardio will just kill u b4 training. Next time you go, do even a 5 min. cardio and see how it effects ur squat.

    hahah yea intense cardio doesnt mix with str. training
    but i'm not going for strength atm, just 'toning' up

    my average session: 20 mins of mid-intense treadmill, 5 mins of rowing machine to stretch and warm up upper body then 10 mins of bike warm down

    for every one min of cardio i do one min of weights. but seeing as i do a hefty amount of cardio prior to this i wont have much juice left to lift my onerepmax or 80%< of what i can do

    haha dunno how you can DL more than you squat hav, thats a pretty pro back. or mayb my squat technique isn't correct. i go as low as my quads-ass being parallel to the ground

    Honestly, fuck the gym. Get ur 3xweek workouts in BUT eat right. Get 1.5 grams of protein per bodyweight (regardless of cutting or bulking) and use a calorie calculator.

    lol, i only run after workouts. I hate going into the gym already sweating. I just stretch before I lift, but my drop sets get the blood to the muscles im working so i really dont need to run to loosen up.
